The season 5 of the popular british series Black Mirror released on 28th of December. One of its kind, it is very surprising to see the technology actually growing in reality with the same theme of black mirror.

Synopsis

Bandersnatch is about a guy who tries to code a game called Bandersnatch inspired by his mother's novel with the same name. The game is about the different pathways leading to different gameplay and different endings. You get to make your choice while playing and the game continues accordingly. Surprisingly it is set in the early computer era.

My Opinion

Bandersnatch has been beautifully written and executed. The episode is not actually about the guy but it is about you. The game that he is building is actually something you will be playing as a viewer. It is confusing. I know. So while you are watching the episode, you will get to choose two options and the character of the episode will work accordingly. You own choices will lead to the ening accordingly and it is a huge deal as of now. Netflix has made this to the next level as an interactive episode where the viewer interacts and controls the character.

This is a really great effort and I am really surprised to see what would come next. Netflix is taking this to being more advanced and bringing this thing to black mirror is really exciting. The story was not that great though, but it would not matter when you are watching something as if you are playing. Netflix says it has got five main endings. It would be great to learn about them in the comments. I very highly recommend this episode for everyone.
