Stranger Things: Season 3

Stranger Things Season 3 Review

Stranger things has finally arrived and unsurprisingly has become one of the most important television show for Netflix. It has garnered the response that every tv show dreams to achieve and is all over the news lately. Let's see how I think of the tv show and should you watch it or not.

Synopsis:

Stranger Things season 3 walks on the same path as its previous two versions but with a slightly tweaked storyline and a little modification on the plot. It tells about the mind-flayer which has come from another parallel world which is melting people to grow its strength and kills Eleven whom he thinks is the only threat to his life. Ultimately all the kids and parents try to solve the origin of the mind flayer and try to destroy it.

My Opinion:

Honestly, when stranger things trailer landed on youtube, I was not so sure whether it would be a treat for the eyes. Since already two seasons were present, extending the same plot again would be really boring. Surprisingly, hats off to the writers of this season they knew this thing. Unlike the Indian writers who are still writing the same plot for every Dhoom series, they made an interesting twist to the plot and proved their worth. I loved the twists and how they have maintained the fact that this is the third season of a tv series which depends on monsters and extending it unnecessarily would degrade its ratings overall.

I loved the writing of this season. How they have woven every single character's story is commendable. In the end, how everyone meets while everyone was solving a part of the mystery unknowingly is every writer's dream. The story and direction is the thing that took off this season on its shoulder. There were quite a lot of loopholes in the story if you observe closely, but since the plot was great, that can be ignored. I do not know whether Americans allow their kids being out for days without having any actual mode of communication. Also, Eleven's legs were held by the mind-flayer and hands by the kids. Basic science would have ripped her apart but writers decided to let this scene be for entertainment only. Acting is great for everyone and ending is emotional which binds the audience to the tv series. I think it is really great and is a recommended series to watch.
