So, after a success of Note 9 and samsung all set to reveal their tenth anniversary phone, claimed to be the best phone ever, Apple needed the event. As always Apple has revealed their phones today and I must say one thing They are expensive.
Three new series of iphone was launched today namely iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone XS Max. While the S is previously known, R is something new this year. Talking about the pricing, XS is priced at $749, XS Max being $1099 and XR being $999. All the phones do not bring anything new to the table except being more pricier and bigger than before. Apple seem to have used the same strategy that it has previously used. Whenever the market for a series gets saturated, they launch the same phone with a series name in front of it, increased size and expensive than before.
Talking of bigger, Apple has made iPhone XR at a size of 6.5 inch screen, which literally will not look like a phone. Apple is used to taking cuts from the services that are subscribed through apple store at 30% for the first year, they have used the same formula. At a survey it was unveiled that people with larger phones use them more compared to the people with smaller phones. Maybe because of movies and other things but Apple has taken it too seriously. They have manufactured a 6.5 inch phone and claims that they shipped 2 billion phones. Talking at the end, it really seems like a expensive phone without getting much in return except a bigger screen. I really don't think that Apple would be able to achieve greater sales because of the S10 that people are waiting. But who knows!!
