Shameless (1-8) Review

So Shameless is just on the edge and you must be ready for the new installment of Shameless. If you haven't seen any episode, this review will surely help you in every way possible. If it is of your taste, take it or else leave it.

Synopsis:

Shameless is about a disorganized family of Gallagher's whose head is Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy). The family is full of bad ass people with no particular aim in life living in a very infamous area of Chicago. As the kids grow from Season 1- Season 8 they start to set their aim in life and experience on their own. The head of the family is almost always wasted and almost always absent from the house. His eldest daughter Fiona Gallagher has always been responsible and raised all her siblings on her own. These series of events have given birth to the hatred against Frank from all his family member. The show proceeds with showing all their lives keeping Frank and Fiona in the center. It is a remake of the British show Shameless till mid Season 6 after which they claim they have entirely changed the plot.

My Opinion:

The show is full of drama, comedy and few saddening scenes. The show is very hugely popular around the world and you can guess it as it has been running since 9 years now. William H. Macy is extraordinary in his acting skills. The way he expresses through his eyes is really beyond the scope of many actors. He will teach you many things throughout the show and will be the center of your attraction. He is hugely popular and also take away the largest share of salary among the cast members.
Emmy Rossum is great with everything and it does not feel like she used to be the singer earlier. She has carried this show on her shoulders along with William and the duo produces greatest scenes that one can imagine. Although the heart of the show is William Macy but it won't be wrong to say that Emmy is also equally important. It is not surprising but this show is very highly recommended.
