Missing

Missing movie review

It would not be surprising to say that you do not know about this movie or maybe never heard of it's name. But it's a movie and we tend not to miss any whether famous or infamous. So here we go

Synopsis:

Missing is a psychological thriller which starrs Manoj Bajpayee and Tabu in the lead role along with Anu Kapoor as the character actor. Manoj is a flirty kind of guy who is travelling to an island due to work via ship. He meets Tabu on the ship and they both get along. He invites Tabu to stay with her and gives the entry as his wife on the hotel reception. Tabu also has her daughter with her. The next morning her daughter disappears and is nowhere to be found, this creates a havoc in the resort and Tabu calls police for the same. Anu Kapoor is the senior police inspector. As they proceed towards solving the case, many ties are unfolded.

My Opinion:

Manoj Bajpai and Tabu have done phenomenal job as the actors. Manoj Bajpai's role is quite challenging and I feel nobody except him could have done it with such grace. He has shown so many expressions so realistically that you would feel he is not acting but is trapped in reality. Tabu has done good job along with Anu Kapoor. The direction could have been better as somewhere story progression is stagnant. There are also few loopholes in the movie but that is acceptable because we rarely see psychological thriller in Indian cinema. As from my side I highly recommend this movie.
