Love per square
foot is a Netflix movie and Netflix is making its base stronger among Indian
audience. But is this movie worth watching? Let us find out
Synopsis:
Love per
square foot is a movie about two people who work in the same company, a bank to
be precise. They work in different departments, while the boy works in the IT
department, girl works in the loan section. They both live in very small house
and are eager to change their house and buy their own. They both dream about
the same day and night. One day an advertisement waters the seed of that dream
of the boy which was about a house in a good society and lottery based allotment.
To submit the form, an amount is needed along with it which he did not have. He
applies for a loan but is rejected by the girl. Then he meets her and recites
her about his dream and how much it means to her. One thing leads to another
and they decide to buy the house with 50-50 ownership. Surprisingly, they both
win the lottery and then they fall in love with some little drama in the end.
My opinion:
The movie
is a drama and just perfect for Indian audience. It has every aspect for which
Indian audience used to be hungry like love, drama etc etc. But I believe
Indian audience has changed now and instead of choosing something dramatic,
they go for something thrilling or suspence types in which brain is also used.
This movie is great for a time pass though like if you have nothing else to
watch, this movie will not disappoint you.
Story as I
said, is a cliché but acting is great. Vicky Kaushal has done a great job as
always along with Angira Dhar . There is nothing as special to mention in the movie
but it is a good one time watch if you love this genre. From my side I do not
recommend it though.
