Laakhon Mein Ek- Season 2 Review
Biswa Kalyan Rath has come back with the season 2 of Laakhon Mein Ek he launched in 2017. Laakhon Mein Ek is available on Amazon Prime and season 1 is a huge hit, made sense to bring up the season 2.
Synopsis:
A cataract camp in a very small and distant village Sheetlapur exposes the corruption going on in the medical department from roots to the highest level in the hierarchy. A junior doctor tries her best to conduct a successful cataract camp in the village whose people do not believe in medicines. They are blindsided by a fake doctor selling steroids and naming them as ayurvedic medicines. The cataract camp later turns out to be the greatest disaster in villager's lives.
My Opinion:
Biswa has created Laakhon Mein Ek in a beautiful manner and taking very less screen timing as he did in season 1. I could not understand why it was named as Season 2 of Laakhon Mein Ek as the series was totally around the students who are forcefully admitted to education institutes. Although it can be said that Laakhon Mein Ek season 2 is about corruption (previously education ten medical) but that changes the meaning of the series' name. It can be said that there is one person in Lakhs who wants to do things differently but both the season does not come together to portray a single meaning.
The acting and screenplay are very good of the Laakhon Mein Ek. The songs are again of the same level as the previous season. The story is very nicely put and I really liked the way Biswa has weaved the story by connecting different dots altogether. Although I am fed up with the minister and political corruption everywhere, I would really want to see a series one day where the government is actually not corrupt. Anyways,
I recommend this to watch but not if you are looking for the same core as the last one.
