Son-Ye-Jin after a long long time on the small screen is what you want in 2018. Son-Ye-Jin is back with the Korean TV show Something in the rain which has recently become the most watched and highest rated korean tv show ever. So here we go

Synopsis

Something in the rain is about a girl Yoon Jin-a whose boyfriend breaks up with her saying she is very unhappening. Her best friend is her everything and they have been together since school. Her best friend's brother and her brother are also good friends. She becomes fond of her best friend's brother Jun-Hui. They both fall in love but this is not so common in Korea. A girl dating a boy younger than her. They keep it a secret for a while but then eventually everyone comes to know about them. Although everyone approves of their relationship, her mother is very angry about them. Her mother is a woman who is fascinated by other people's jobs, qualifications and family background. Jun-Hui's mother deceased when they were young and his father flew away with another woman. These things bother her and she revolts. And the story continues.

My Opinion:

This show is a very well crafted TV show with less melodrama. Although one would feel, it has a lot of drama but they never exceeded reality. Every scene and every situation is just like what it would happen with you. It is very well done. 

Story is great and the characters are very strong. Their decisions and how they change as the series progress, is very realistic and I would really appreciate this thing. Acting is great of each and every character. Even a 3 minute character has done fabulous acting. The story will bind you till the last 15 minutes of the last episode and it is something very unexpected when you are watching a melodrama, especially Korean. This show definitely deserves another season. I would very highly recommend this show.
