Money Heist Part 1 Review

Money heist is a spanish tv series whose original name is La Casa De Papel and currently divided into two parts. We will try to go one by one and hence this is the review of part 1.

Synopsis:

Money heist is about a heist, obviously, which takes place inside a mint. By mint I mean the building where currency minting press is situated and currency is minted. There are eight people who perform the heist while one is a mastermind who goes by the name Professor. No one knows any one's name. They all are recognized by the city names that they chose such as tokyo, helsinki, nairobi etc. While eight people perform heist, Professor is outside the mint who coordinates with the outside world and also observe mint from outside through cameras. All of them start printing their own money in the heist and plan to print for 10 days for around 240 million euros for each of them.

My opinion:

Money heist is perfectly drafted tv show with a very old and cliched idea. For the first, I never thought of it as this much good as it is just the same heist. By watching the series, I got to know it is much much much more than that. Money heist is not only about the heist but also takes you through the journey of each and every person's personal life. The main core of the show is showing different emotions of the policemen as well as heistmen as in reality they too have their personal life. The show revolves around why everyone took the step to perform the heist and how anyone can behave while the heist is going on, including hostages.

Story wise this series is great and acting wise it is exceptional. While there is no unnecessary drama, every corner of the story is explored as if heist was going on in reality. Professor's acting is mind blowing and he actually looks, walks, watches and talks like a mastermind. I found every character fit for their role and incredible direction. Every episode has some thrilling and nail biting scenes and the screenplay is one of the best. I really like this tv series and since this is all about part 1 I will be watching part 2 as well. Part 1 just ends to a point where policemen has some advantage over heist men and professor is about to be trapped. I really very highly recommend this series to everyone.
